Biceps, Chest, and Butts

My bags are packed and my packing list has been checked twice....ready to hit the road in just over 12 hours for Sara & Logan's wedding weekend!

After a 30 minute warm up on the elliptical, I did a Biceps & Chest circuit with lots of jump ropes!

Walking up stairs is pretty sore after this workout!

Leg Hit

It's the Tuesday after Memorial Weekend and I am already looking forward to Thursday when I get another long weekend for a sorority sister's wedding! I'm hoping I'll be able to get in a workout in Friday morning (though it'll be the morning after the bachelorette party, so we'll see....) amongst all the wedding craziness. Today and tomorrow are crunch work out days!

After a 30 minute elliptical warm up, I went into the aerobics studio and did this Leg Workout:

I finished out with a  quick ab set before leaving for coaching.

Didn't get home until late last night, but had to share yesterday's arm workout:

Burning Body

We have made it to half way through the week! So close to a 3 day weekend!

I started out with 15 minutes on the stairmaster before this workout that left me super sweaty (perfect for going back outside to sweat some more at practice!)

Shoulders & Abs

Today's focus (if the title didn't give it away): Shoulders and Abs!

After 25 minutes on the elliptical, I decided to do some shoulders and abs. With short sleeve now in session, I plan on focusing a lot on arms!

For the shoulders, I did 3 sets of 12 of each workout.
For the abs, I did 3 sets of 20 of each workout.

Solid Wednesday workout

Sorry I am writing this a day late, but I left yesterday's workout feeling solid all over!

I started out the workout with 20 minutes on the stairmaster before doing some leg exercises/PT homework, which was a combination of:
Leg presses
Leg curls
Side leg raises with resistance bands
side walks with resistance bands
step ups
bridge holds
clams with resistance bands

Now that my legs felt strong/sore, I moved onto abs:
10 jackknife sit ups
20 Russian twists with dumbbells
10 weighted sit ups
30 crunches
20 weighted oblique crunches
:45 plank
20 hip twists in plank
25 Russian twists with dumbbells
30 vertical leg crunches
10 weighted sit ups
And I didn't feel like being done just yet, so did a quick arm circuit:

After both of us had a solid workout, Caroline and I headed by my mom's store (Crozet Running for those in the area!) and we each left with new shoes! I got a pair of gym shoes that have got to be one of the most comfiest pairs of shoes I've ever tried on. I'm going to go back later to try on shoes for running. Here are my shoes: Pearl Izumi Road NO

Graduation Weekend!

"Master Deale" at your service!

Yesterday I graduated with my Masters in Special Education from Liberty. Although it poured on the way there and during the ceremony (which fortunately was inside), the sun came out afterwards which made for some great pictures! Having my family there and Ben to celebrate my accomplishment made it extra special :)

Yesterday started out with a quick visit to the gym. I did a 2 mile run outside, 20 minutes on the elliptical before doing circuit 2x through:

I hope everyone is getting to spend a lovely day with their mothers! :)

New workouts to try!

The assignments have been turned in. The cap has been decorated. Graduation is Saturday!! Woo!

Now that I have no homework and have time to relax in the evenings, I am getting caught up on my blog and do plan to post more! Last night I researched more workouts to try because I was honestly getting a little burnt out of ones I have been doing lately.

After sweating my way to the gym in my car (90 degrees today! yuck!) I tried out this workout that Peanut Butter Fingers posted from her weekend:

5 minute run
20 squat jumps

Four stations (45 secs each, 2x)
1. Sprint 50 yards, jog backwards *I eliminated this because I was not going outside*
2. Jumping lunges
3. Burpees
4. Sit Ups

5 minute run

Core workout (30 sec. each 2x)
Plank
Reverse plank
side left crunch
side left plank
side right crunch
side right plank

And finished with a solid glute workout:
